Nollywood movie stars Stan Nze and Ruth Kadiri star in a new movie that is set to shake foundational beliefs about marital traditons in Nigeria. The movie teaches a lot of values, a lot of emotional connections can be made with this mastermind creation. Definitely make it a date to see this movie.
The movie discusses the consequences of the disturbing trend of outrageous marriage list from bride’s family especially on spinsters and the society at large. Directed by Uche Agbo, ‘The Final List’ also features Emma Anyalogu, Fortune Luke, Etimbuk Idiong, Bernie Obi, Aniebiet Francis, and Eno Ekwere.
Speaking with Pulse on producing the movie, budding actress, Aniebiet Francis said, ‘The Morals to be learnt in ‘The Final List’ is Marriage rites is not a business venture, the girl child is a bride not a commodity.’ The movie is scheduled for release by the Silverbird cinema distribution company on Friday, February 15, 2019.
Stan Nze born Stanley Ebuka Nzediegwu on May 15, 1989 in Lagos, Nigeria, is best known for playing Ohakanu in the Africa Magic produced television series, Tinsel (2011), Stan trained at the Stella Damasus Arts Foundation and started his acting career in 2009 with a minor role in a television series titled Private Sector which was followed by guest appearances in some other TV series. He made his first film appearance in 2011’s musical thriller Hoodrush alongside OC Ukeje, Bimbo Akintola and Gabriel Afolayan. In 2016 Stan got his first major nomination as a leading actor in a movie for Just Not Married opposite Judith Audu which bagged him two movie award nominations.
Ruth Kadiri was born on March 24, 1988 in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria. She is a graduate of Mass communication from the University of Lagos, and Business Administration from Yaba College Of Technology. Ruth Kadiri ventured into Nollywood in the movie Boys Cot and since then has over fifty movies to her credit. As a screenwriter she has written and co-written several movies, some of which include: Matters Arising, Heart of a Fighter, Ladies Men, Sincerity, First Class, Over the Edge . Ruth went on to produce films such as Matters Arising, Over the Edge, Somebody Lied and her latest work Memory Lane which deals with the issue of lies and deceit.
