The Lagos state commissioner of police, Edgal Imohimi, has been removed with immediate effect, in his place, Kayode Egbetokun will be task with policing the nation’s commercial nerve centre.
The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, Edgal Imohimi, has been removed. The PUNCH learnt that the police boss had been replaced by Mr. Kayode Egbetokun, who is in acting capacity.
Imohimi is expected to resume as the Commissioner of Police in charge of Explosive Ordinance Unit at the Force Headquarters, Abuja. Edgal Imohimi assumed office as Lagos CP on August 31, 2017. Before then, he was the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations in Lagos State.
