The visual which is fast grabbing the attention of the online community combines the use of live action and animation in passing across its message.
Falz opens the record referencing the Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) – a religious group that tendered him a 7-days ultimatum to withdraw the video for his politically charged 2018 track, This Is Nigeria over scenes of the Hijab-wearing dancers. “Brother MURI shout finish we no see am for court”, he rapped, putting Hijab-wearing characters on display again.
With over 60, 000 views on Youtube within hours of release, here are some reactions of what the musician’s fans think about the daring video.

Hours after the video surfaced online, popular Nigerian television presenter Ebuka Obi-Uchendu took to his Twitter page to post a series of quotes from Seun Kuti, son of the late music legend, from his TVC interview. He had called out musicians who were trying so bad to ruin his father’s musical legacy.
“Majority of Nigerian music today I always tell people is a tool of the oppressors. The music puts pressure on young people… Saying look at me I have this nice car, I can get your girl, look at my beautiful clothes, what do you have? This is not the power of music.” Seun Kuti

With the general election in view, the rapper took time to also address the current political landscape, highlighting the continued case of public funds embezzlement by political leaders. “Small man thief for market, we set fire for him body, big man thief money, we dey hail am like dummy / we dey suffer, we dey smile, we fear to talk, my people no get to chop, my people no get work”.

The musician who has been tagged as being fearless for his music video has also been compared to late Afrobeat legend Fela Anikulapo-Kuti who was widely known for speaking against societal ills as perpetrated by members of the government.
